Caps N Stems originated in Southern Oregon in 2020. In its first year it grew from a couple of pressure cookers, 4 different varieties of mushroom tissue cultures and a lust for cultivating food that only tastes good, but has wonderful benefits for everyone to mid-sized commercial outfit - fruiting up to 300lbs of mushrooms a week.

The owner and cultivator, Crystal Lorton, scoured through many varieties of mushrooms until only the best of the best was being grown. Using only organic and natural elements and mediums, she procured a rather flawless routine that allowed for maximum output and very happy customers.

A passion for food and holistic medicines, she decided to try her hands in alternatives to just eating mushrooms and put a wonderful spin on teas, tinctures, seasonings and even baked goods for humans and their beloved fur babies.

Caps N Stems has since relocated 3000 miles to the northeast: Maine.

Cultivation will begin again starting next spring. Look for new products, hands-on learning experiences and online tutorials!
